Good Bye!

Dear Parents,

I have very much enjoyed getting to know and teaching your children so far this year. They are all wonderful, unique and special students who put a smile on my face every day.

However, I am writing this letter to let you know that I will be leaving St. Rita School. I have accepted a teaching position at the school board. I will miss teaching your children, but I know they will have a wonderful new grade 1 teacher.

Curriculum Night / Meet the Teacher

Curriculum Night is this Tuesday, September 19th.

Curriculum Night will not begin as usual in the gym, but will start in the classrooms instead. There will be St. Rita Grade 6 ambassadors available at the front entrance to help you find our classroom. We are at the very end of the port-a-pack in room C6. Please come visit our classroom and learn more about grade 1 routines, expectations and programming. There are two sessions. The first at 6:20 pm and the second at 6:40 pm. The students' French teacher will be in the learning commons.

Week of September 11

It was a pleasure meeting your children last week. We are getting to know each other and learning about our grade 1 classroom family. Students are handling the transition to grade 1 very well.

This week we will be spending time reinforcing routines and expectations for in the classroom and during recess time.

Program Night is scheduled for Tuesday, September 19 at 6:00 pm. I look forward to seeing you!
